Job Cuts
We have felt the effects of the Corona crisis on the restaurant and hotel industry in all severity: drastic slumps in sales and a massively negative cash flow were the result. Extensive cost-cutting measures were introduced, such as cancelling orders for goods, stopping marketing campaigns and closing down the Bielefeld and Munich locations. Ultimately, in view of the negative trend, it was no longer possible to maintain a staffing level of 800 employees throughout the Group.  By setting up a transfer company, it was possible to provide the 70 employees laid off at the Wertingen and Nuremberg sites with time and financial security.

Even though we are certain that the effects of the crisis will preoccupy us for a long time to come, we are cautiously optimistic about the future with a reduced team, an adapted organisational structure and our strong products and services.
