Entering the Chinese Market
China is usually seen as a procurement market, sometimes complicated and often with trade barriers. But China is also sensationally attractive as a sales market. German companies in particular still have a positive reputation in China. This is precisely why we saw the opportunity, evaluated the possibilities and started selling our products in China. JD.com, with a turnover of about € 73 million annually, offers the perfect platform for us. Selected products can now be ordered by the Chinese on the online marketplace. This is an absolutely exciting project for our company, because a lot of things simply work differently in China than we were previously aware of. The first step into the Asian market has been successful - fuelled by the right marketing, we are now looking forward to the first orders.
